I would give ZERO stars if I could! Terrible company! Don't be fooled by the high scores on this website.
These are only a few things that I saw in my short tenure:
- Life & well-being does not matter at all
- Failing systems, unsafe work environment in all sites (when will the Canadian government step in?)
- Management is a joke. Supervisors are wildly held unaccountable for mismanaging workers.
- The top HR person treated people so poorly and was only interested in the budget. I heard this lady say "too many people at this site! Get rid of 20 in the next fiscal" (I was dismayed by her insensitivity)
- Culture of fear in most departments.. you can't challenge any decision
- Positions and bonuses are given based on popularity and nothing else. Many Brazilian employees quit their jobs in Rio (head office), come to Canada where a friend is already working, and are re-hired as a local employee. But they are not locals! They are taking jobs from qualified Canadians!
- Backstabbing and blaming are completely normal, validated by incompetent managers
- Policies and rules don't make sense because they're dictated from Brazil
- Work processes are highly bureaucratic and cumbersome
- Unethical overall.... Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!
