The company values and employs people from a certain social group with better salaries. While employees who started on the factory floor do not have an honest and established career path and spend years and years without any movement towards professional growth. For poor women and black people, being in this company is even more difficult, in addition to the difficulty of opportunities, they have to deal with prejudice and disrespect.

This is easily the most racist, poorly managed company I have ever worked for. If you aren’t Brazilian, you will never be promoted, even if you can run circles around upper management and executives. They use diversity hires as a shield only. They literally spent 30 minutes of one of the last tow halls discussing how they don’t have bathrooms suitable for women at worksights, and it has been an issue for YEARS. The company needs to admit that the operations in other parts of the world are safer and better run than the Brazilian operations, which are in fact dragging everyone else down. Really, they make the whole of Brazil look bad with their incompetence.
