“If I could give no stars, I would!”

Pros

Met some great people despite all the mess and chaos.

Cons

- Such an incredibly terrible, terrible culture within certain teams (one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had) - You will get hired, then they will act like you don’t even exist - You will work hard, and there will be nothing to show for it - You will constantly be made to question whether you are actually good at the career path you’ve chosen - You can’t actually trust anyone because everyone is related to each other - Management is a joke - HR? What’s that?!

Changing environment

Pros

Is a good place to create things, innovate and is a very horizontal company in many aspects.

Cons

It's a really changing environment, the company is under many changes of all type, so is not a place if you're looking for something stable.

Hustle Smarter

Pros

- Rapid Growth 'Startup' feel - Amazingly talented peers - No two days are the same When I was interviewing at WeWork (almost 2 years ago) , I read the glassdoor reviews and they gave me pause. I asked the person who would be my first manager about them. I was told that even though those things do exist - that their focus is and always has been on building a team of people who could support each other as not only coworkers, but a family. This manager is a rising star in the company and continues to have that impact on their entire territory. I consider myself blessed to work under their guidance and it truly makes a world of difference.

Cons

- Can be long hours - No 401k match (*yet) I titled this review Hustle Smarter because there are definitely times when weeks can feel VERY long. That being said, I probably put in an average of 50 hours a week as a Community Manager. My team averages 40-50 a week as well. It's all about balance and ensuring that you arrange your time so that you can maximize your energy output. There are lots of different ways you get pulled in community so time management is a very valuable skill to hold.
