Front desk to HR--Oof

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Snacks, coffee, nice break rooms, good networking opp to meet with other companies, and some good coworkers.

Cons

Long hours, terrible management, HR is a joke. One I know went from front desk to HR in NYC. He does a terrible job, does not respond to candidates (like, ever) and does not portray the company well.

Pros

Culturally the company is awesome. May companies, employers and huge network opportunity to blend and meet professionals.

Cons

The management from certain companies are asking for we work manager favors to soliciting house rules to employees and we have other companies that are required to do that at all. How someone can impose rules on only one company and not equal treatment to others. Discrimination can be filed against this such a thing. Some people from companies are feeling discriminated to use the We Work.

Pros

You will be challenged every day. Surrounded by the smartest people in the industry.

Cons

Some people say the work load is too intense, but I've found that if you manage your time you will be just fine.
