Working hours, especially for community workers, can be long. I work in tech for the company and my hours are 9-6, but I regularly see the community team working outside those boundaries. I can understand that complaint. Truthfully, my days fly by and I feel quite accomplished by the end of the day. One other complaint I saw was compensation, but I have a hard time relating to that as in my experience my salary was competitive even as a relatively new member of the workforce (I graduated college last year).
The company definitely has a strong culture. Some may be put off by the "cult vibe" but to me it is simply a driven company with clear values and a mission.
One other thing I would say -- no 401k contribution as of yet, but they're "working on it".
