Not horrible, not great. Neutral at best.

Pros

* Interesting concept * Beer and coffee on tap * For those looking to grow with the company, you'll find that here. * Fun parties and interesting, ambitious people. Very friendly overall. * Global focus which is really great if you're interested in working with start ups from all over the world. * "Cool" factor.

Cons

* Disorganized. * Unnecessary pressure and stress. * Not a good place for those who are mid career. Much better place for those who are just starting out. * OK benefits. Nothing to write home about. Not that much vacation time as compared to other start ups (unlimited vacation, anyone?) * No 401K option * Not so great pay. * In my role, murky expectations. * Little work/life balance.

Pros

Amazing and talented people Great resume builder

Cons

When I started at the beginning of 2018, this company was an amazing and inspiring place to be, with talented driven humans wanting to revolutionize the work place. In the last 6 months, just about everything that made this place the best place to work has vanished, including some of the best talent I’ve seen at a company. Everyone is operating in fear of losing their job. Those who can’t do their job are rewarded and given promotions to positions they cannot actually do. People hire/manage their friends and that’s the only way to get a leg up. People of color, especially women of color are treated lesser than and will work 3x harder than their white male counter part, just for the “Bro” to get promoted. Comp has deteriorated and the Company events that are considered “benefits” are nonexistent. Absolute chaos. This place is not worth the stress or your time.

Pros

-WeWork is growing so fast that it is an amazing company to join -Great for a first job; then move on to another company

Cons

-Communication is awful between departments. No one takes accountability so you are always scrambling for new information to solve a situation/project. -If you are a "yes" person with a constant fake positive attitude who never questions (the cult), you will do well in the environment here. You don't know who you can trust. -Summer Camp and Summit are positives if you are in your 20's and want to party. If you are past that stage, you will dread sharing a tent at the first and possibly sharing a bed (if you are a woman), for the latter. -Mandatory Events in the evening to bond once again are great if you are just starting out in life You can drink and have fun. If you have children and a spouse, they are tough to manage, but you are expected to. Most employees are not in this situation anyway. Google age discrimination lawsuits. -Philosophy seems to be they hire some people with less experience and pay less. I will say most of the employees are top notch in quality/intelligence/ethics. But there is a learning curve and many work in fear.
