Yummly is a Food Technology company focused on using cutting edge tech to solve real problems for people who love cooking. The depth of the technologies we use is amazing: as an example Ingredient Recognition is currently recognizing thousands of ingredients through your phone's camera. It's like SeeFood from the show Silicon Valley, only in real life. As another example - Yummly is building the real Connected Kitchen (with some help from our friends at Whirlpool) where all the appliances are talking to each other and your Yummly Apps - this is the real IoT used to solve an actual problem in many families. Finally, Yummly has one of the best company cultures in Silicon Valley. People work together and play together. Everyone is always willing to help and goes that extra mile to take care of coworkers/friends. It's truly amazing to work in that environment every day.
