Pros

There's little pros to it other than having a slightly higher salary than most other retail jobs.

Cons

1. They might rotate your location according to what they want and only tell you last minute. 2. Horrible working environment. You can't have your phone with you, if spotted, eg. Your phone in your pocket. It will be confiscated. 3. The managers there have shouted at part timers before. Several times too. 4. No respect of your time. They will ask you(slightly force) you to come earlier for work("please come at 10am instead of 12pm") or ask you to come work on your off day. And they will forced you home when they don't need you. They made me work 7 hours straight with no breaks because they made me come work earlier and my break time stayed the same. I was starving and 30 mins after my break time, they told me to go home cause another part timer promised they could come in. 5. The managers does not have understanding for the part timers. You could have a huge emergency at home and they will expect you to provide an mc no matter what. Note, I have to pay 40 every doctor consultation so this is quite an amount for me. Once, a part timer couldn't come cause she had serious period cramps and they demanded that she provide an mc. Ridiculous.

Pros

The pay is pretty good for a starting retail position

Cons

Extremely understaffed. Instead of putting in a more honest effort to hire more people, management instead demands the current employees to overwork themselves. Essentially you aren't allowed to have fun. If they see you talking or enjoying yourself they will make sure that happens less. Stockroom is hazardous and unsafe. No space to work often and employees are expected to complete unrealistic tasks.

Pros

Management roles pay VERY well - probably the best in retail. The relationships you build with your co-workers get you through the day. Fast-paced so your day flies by. Promotions happen from within and talent gets recognized early on for quick development.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations from corporate - constantly receive mixed messages from your regionals. Each department head expects a different result from your work and it's impossible to leave at the end of the day feeling satisfied about what you did that day because you know you disappointed at least one person by not achieving what they expected of you. Never ending shipment delays! Constantly have to change schedule to accommodate shipment not arriving when it's supposed to. You are guilted into coming into work even if you're sick. You feel pressure to stay later than you are scheduled. The only reason I'm still here is for the pay but I'm actively looking for a new job. Oh, and the store music is horrible. I want to like this company and this job so badly, but I just can't anymore.
