Pros

Received 3 closing 8 hour shifts on my first week upon being hired, was not prepared for this as it was my first retail job, although I was able to learn quickly and get the hang of it. Many many hours if thats what you're looking for. Managers are very respectful and helpful when it comes to teaching you what to do (although I was not trained by them) and you are able to learn how to work very efficiently.

Cons

Very demanding and very high workload, if you work here be ready to be on your feet for hours working nonstop. In my opinion pay is insufficient to the work you are required to do. If you arent prepared for a very fast paced working environment and lots of it, you shouldn't apply here.

Great pay but..

Pros

Zara offered group commission - lets say if your section did well then you would get commission based on that. I'm not sure if they do that anymore. For a retail job, the pay was decent and full time workers working 8 hours got an hour break.

Cons

The discount was skimpy. The managers showed blatant favortism. No upward mobility in this company (unless favoritism was shown to you by a manager.) Closing could be very tedious especially during sale . You would either get a decent amount of hours or hours would be cut severely.

Pros

• Can move up • Good minimum wage (good as in compared to other retail wages) • Nice system in how they divide up the work

Cons

You literally have to be on your foot, consistently rushing around, for 8 hours straight. They have lots of customers all the time. I honestly don't think this is worth the pay because it will make you physically exhausted. This is ideal for anyone who isn't doing anything besides working. But if you need time for school, applying for other jobs, and other responsibilities, I guarantee you that you will not have enough time/energy due to Zara.
