Careful, can be toxic

Pros

In appearance Zynga is great. Good salary, good growth, solid products.

Cons

There are some things that we don't dare to say, because there is pressure in hiding it. HR won't protect either because of the politics and the company would have blurry lines around harassment, toxicity, bullying whether it is towards foreigners or women. Careers can be great in the right team, but if ending up in a toxic team as there is no HR shield things can easily go wild and wound people deeper than a job should do.

Pros

Nobody knows you when you join! because, they don’t introduce or have ice breaking sessions. Clearly in beginning I remember I was introduced to my workstation for sure.

Cons

Countless...political place, although they don’t appreciate efforts. Which is obviously demotivating. Hard to stand that place now, really.

Pros

Open office culture still lingers. Democratic atmosphere to some extend.

Cons

This is as neutral and as honest assessment that can be made of Zynga's India facility. The situation at Zynga-India is honestly a mix of pros and cons. The only question is which outweighs which. while we should wholeheartedly recognise all efforts made by some dedicated people who are much passionate about gaming, there are some glaring and outrageous negativity that cant be overlooked. The whole place is swarming with producers and managers. You cant literally walk the floor without bumping into a producer or manager. Most of the people who are part of the actual workforce doesn't have a chance of any recognition or career growth, while the mouth babbling, long-winded producers/managers reap all benefits and share the perks between them. They are cutting down man-power in actual workforce day by day, and actually recruiting more and more to their creed. Its a pathetic situation where managers/producers take pride in taking advantage of people who do the actual work. There are numerous and impossible hurdles that a worker has to accomplish to attain a level-up or a salary hike. On the other hand, managers/producers liberally promote each other and enjoy easy growth and massive compensations, all at a cost of excising their tongues. Its a well known fact, as far as Zynga-India is concerned, skill at work doesn't get you far in this concern. A mouth blabber always win over a skilled professional here. The top management is simply not able to differentiate between a skilled worker and a charlatan or a quack. If you express your concerns and reasoning, you are kicked out. Many of the top positions are filled with people who posses no ability at all, their only qualification to be there being an unconditional readiness to go with every whims and fancy of the top management.
