Truly a Great place to work certified Company in India

Pros

Zynga holds a significant place in my professional journey. While it isn't my first or last company, the people-first culture and the inherent values upheld by the organisation have consistently impressed me. My decision to return to Zynga for a second tenure was largely influenced by the exceptional environment I experienced previously. After exploring other opportunities, I found that many companies fell short in delivering the same level of cultural richness and employee value that Zynga so effectively embodies. This experience truly highlighted how Zynga has set a high bar for me. Another highly commendable aspect of Zynga is the accessibility of its leadership team. From the Director of HR to the Country Head, their readiness to engage with employees, regardless of designation, through platforms like Slack, demonstrates a strong commitment to open communication and employee support. I wish Zynga continued success in earning "Great Place to Work" accolades.

Cons

We've recently seen some talent leave for competitors offering higher salaries. I believe it's important for Zynga to seriously examine this trend. Addressing our compensation strategy could be key to retaining our valuable employees and maintaining our competitive edge.

Pros

the people are great. most are very welcoming and inclusive. they foster great culture but this depends on teams. people knew what they were doing and were not out to waste anyone’s time.

Cons

they are a business first and foremost, so the bottom line matters most over people and needs. there is some cult mindset going on where climbing the corporate ladder and playing the rat race is what earns you recognition. not only do you need to be a contributor, you need to show how you’re always going above and beyond to even get noticed. just doing your job, or what others call “the bare minimum” is not enough. it’s hard not to see hustle culture when it’s easily masked by benefits and “employee programs” that serve the company tax breaks if you can find a team or a manager that appreciates doing just your job, great. if not, i hope you enjoy working.
