Pros

- Work on games with millions of dollars of annual revenue - Great people to work with (not under)

Cons

- Most features are usually designed keeping money in mind at the expense of player experience - You are constantly told in public forums you are the owner of your feature, but you have no freedom to make any decisions - Long working hours are the norm - High attrition and management doesn't care about making people stay

not a place for creatives or diversity

Pros

Depending on where you come from, benefits seem great. Mainly just lunch in SF (light breakfast) with lots of events and happy hours around the office, gym and you can bring your dog. Nothing like FANG, but better than a lot of others. If you're doing a business function, Zynga's a decent place to learn and be scrappy.

Cons

Weak leadership who appear to be counting down the days until their stock fully vests. Employees don't seem connected to the company or values (as there aren't really any). Inauthentic women's programming - not an uplifting community internally. If you're a seasoned engineer or creative, you’ll get bored updating Zynga Poker for the rest of your life.

Tons of meetings, inexperienced management and favorism culture

Pros

Good food (heavy) and variety in canteen food Parties with booze once in 6 months Easy promotions and less competition Very bookish interviews. So just mug up stuff and crack the interviews.

Cons

Less and non-challenging work Large team-sizes so you could easily manage your day without much work Tons of meetings Non-merit and politics based culture
