Pros

free food and lots of parties

Cons

the parties are really to numb how uninteresting the work is. And the cliques in your team show at those parties. So kinda like high school. Among the game companies I've worked at, my coworkers and the environment at a whole is more close to high school. That's the impression I got to this date if I were to summarize.

Pros

Free food, attempts at creating culture and company spirit.

Cons

No leadership. Senior executives act as if it is employees' privilege they show up for work. Lots of internal conflicts between leaders, studios, and teams. No direction.

Zynga Response

Hello and thank you for your review. While I am glad you took away several positive experiences during your time at Zynga, I take your constructive comments seriously. I am disappointed to hear your experiences and perception of senior leadership were not positive. Zynga values inclusive leadership and team work is essential at all levels of the organization in order to deliver on our mission of "Connecting the World Through Games". We encourage employees experiencing issues to reach out to a trusted leader or People Operations. I appreciate your candor and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

* Unbelievable responsibility. You will have completely ownership of the product here, driving decisions of a game that makes millions of dollars every quarter. * Its fast paced and the results are immediate, so your feature, optimization, decisions can bring in hundreds and thousands of dollars immediately or loose the same amount. * You get to work with a host of functions and most are crazy talented. * Free Food and well stocked pantry.

Cons

* If you are stuck in the same game for a long time, things might get less interesting and repetitive. * Increments are extremely opaque. * Not the best paying product manager role. If you are here, its more because of the great work and ownership rather than money.
