Small company that grew too fast for it's own good

Pros

Work hard, play hard attitude towards work. Lot's of motivated young employees who have something to prove. Great place to start a career.

Cons

Company grew from less than 200 employees to over 3000 very quickly. Quality of hiring suffered as it was more about filing seats as fast as possible. Innovation was not encouraged and it was more about shipping the next game, which is really just a reskinned copy of the last game with a few new features and one new game mechanic. Also became very top heavy with executives and management team. Although recently, this has taken a turn under the new CEO.

Free food and the paycheck cleared the bank.

Cons

Employee morale is so low, if you work her you will become depressed and stressed out. As tempting as it may sound at first, you will definitely want to save your time and stay far away from this ticking time bomb.

Smart people, great perks. Pre-IPO, it was a fantastic place to work.

Cons

All games are the same, politicking here is the worst I've seen. Way too much micro-management, it's the same number-crunching across divisions at the cost of the games and the politics here is obnoxious.
