      Nothing happens for a while and then you leave

      Pros

      - Great perks (especially the gym, snacks, weekly happy hours, and meals) - Some of my coworkers were very good and talented at their jobs - Dog friendly office place was a plus - Video game and arcade machines were nice - If you're in the right team or position you can do a lot - Decent compensation and promotion scheme

      Cons

      - There was a significant amount of internal politics, and a lack of transparency mean you didn't know what was going on - It was really easy to do nothing and get complacent - Morale is low - The organizational structure was the worst: independent studios that fought central teams meant that everyone realized the company was "losing" but somehow thought their own team was doing well

      Pros

      Competitive salary if negotiated well, stocked kitchen and free lunch although these benefits have been reduced drastically in the recent few months and most others on the way out

      Cons

      Office politics, mediocre middle managers without competence staying put at Zynga for a few years driving the company down, work culture is terrible

      early growth was big lots of new responsibilities to master all the time a lot of great people good benefits IPO'd

      Cons

      corruption, power struggles and politics was a constant IPO'd in a historically bad manner, screwed a lot of employees, really poor management up top to do that to so many. Disgusting. Company gutted and at a low since the IPO. Probably will stay around its current value for some time to come. Comeback doubtful.
