I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2020
Interview
I applied online and they reached out to me a month after applying. The recruiter said although the role has been filled, they were looking to hire more people. After a 15 minute phone screen, I took an online coding test on C/C++ and Python. A couple days later, the recruiter said the team would like to interview me and we scheduled a time to meet the team. However, the recruiter disappeared and stopped replying after the proposed day did not work. I don't understand the logic behind it and from the candidate's point of view, this is extremely disrespectful. Candidates take the effort to polish their resumes, practice hours on end for the coding questions, and right when it seems all the hard work paid off, the recruiter ghosts them. Do better, EA.
