I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Equinox (New York, NY) in Feb 2019
Interview
I went through an agency so I had a phone and in person interview with the agency and then had 4 in person interviews and 1 phone interview with various members of the Equinox recruiting and HR team. I was told I was the top candidate by the agency multiple times and for 3 weeks straight I was told they were working on an offer approval and then Equinox basically ghosted the agency. Honestly, it was a waste of my time and energy and I never received an update on what ended up happening. This was a terrible candidate experience in my opinion.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Equinox (Mamaroneck, NY) in Jul 2019
Interview
Applied to the Mamaroneck location shortly after received a video interview link. A day later I received a reply to be scheduled for an interview. The interview was awkward there was a young woman as the GM and she for some reason had a trainer with her in the room. A lot of questions not having to do with the position. The interview concluded the interviewer said they will be in contact with me with the next steps. A couple of days passed so I called she was supposedly on a call. I called the next day and she was in a meeting, instead of beating around the bush just say I didn't get the job. Really unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equinox
Interview
The worst interview I have ever had in my career. My on-site interview, I had scheduled 5 interviews with different people of the team.
I met with the hiring manager for around 30 mins, it was just a casual tech interview.
While I was waiting for my next interview in the room, I heard they were singing happy birthday to someone.
Then, I met with a project manager for about 15 mins and she was so in a hurry that, she was watching her phone clock all the time. I asked her who has a birthday and it became that the VP who I had to meet to is the birthday boy and she said I'll not meet with him because you know ....
After the second interview, I had to meet with another guy who unfortunately all of the sudden became that is on vacation in London.
How is possible to schedule on-site interview a week before that and you don't know who is in the office?
After 5 min someone came and said they're canceling the interview and will follow up by email.
I lost half of the day to meet with them and they cancel the interview in the middle of it.
That was the most unprofessional interview that I have ever had.
