I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in May 2013
Interview
Two interviews-phone and in-person. Phone interview was easy-basic questions about yourself and examples of customer service background. In person was a little harder-met with two customer service team leads. Was mostly just giving explaining my background and answering questions regarding particular customer service scenarios. Nothing too tricky.

Question 1
Name a time you had to deal with a difficult customer and how did you handle it?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Groupon in Jul 2013
Interview
Applied on website right and was contacted that same day to set up a phone interview. On phone interview asked general questions about my work background. Then asked questions about what I thought groupon was and how my current experience could be related. Interview was very friendly. At the end salary was brought up, and it was way under what I was currently making. Once interviewer heard this politely ended interview and said they would keep my information on file.
