I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2011
Interview
Phone interview came first and it was fine, then went in on a Saturday for the real deal...except it felt more like a cattle call than an interview. And at 31, I knew the minute I walked in that I was WAY too old a heifer to make the grade - everyone else there looked closer to 24. The folks interviewing me were 27 at the oldest. I really felt pretty out of place and silly - walking out of there, I wasn't expecting to get an offer.
The actual interview lasted around 2 hours - they brought a group of us in on a Saturday, and we each got interviewed by two different members of the management team. When that was done I kind of got left in room by myself for ten minutes, then the HR lady came and escorted me back to the elevator.
So not bad, but not the best!

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in May 2011
Interview
Literally two hours after I put in my resume I got a call back from a very polite woman on the phone, we set up a time for a phone interview for the following day. The phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and was pretty laid back. Discussed things like past work experience and why I chose Groupon. She gave me some details of the job and we made a time to meet in person. The interview process lasted about an hour and I met with three seperate people.
