I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Spectrum in Feb 2023
Interview
First of all the interviewer was late. Instead of acknowledging his tardiness he said “i don’t have much time, this isn’t going to be an hour, “What’s your understanding of the position” i explained my understanding of the role, he proceeded to correct me and went into further details fair enough. Then continued to say you’re selling me, I’m not selling you the floor is yours” what questions do you have. So i asked about day to day job, compensation (because it it a sales job) and growth in the position. He was condescending the entire time then stated, you didn’t ask what i was a looking for, you only wanted to know if you would be a good fit for you. Immediately i knew this wasn’t someone i would want to work for.

Question 1
What’s your understanding of the role? Was the only question he asked
The interview process was straightforward and easy. The interviewers were kind and kept in touch. I just wish they had known the answers to my questions at the time of interview, though a bit more difficult. Otherwise, they were very informative.

Question 1
One question that was asked was to describe a time I had handled an upset customer.
Waited for a long time. Manager was not professional at all. They told me I was overly qualified for a customer rep job. Like what? I didn’t know that could happen at a call center job
