I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Laurel, MD) in Aug 2014
Interview
It was a day where they interview multiple potential employees. They called us in one by one based on when we came in. Then when it was your turn you were interviewed by a manager using the paper that all of the TJX companies use. After that was done you went home. They did not tell me if i got the job until about a month later.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TJ Maxx
Interview
I put in an application via snagajob, within a week I was contacted asking if I was still interested in the position. I setup an appointment for a 1on1 interview and was asked the very standard interview questions, as well as went over pay.
applied online and heard back weeks later, the interview was as easy as ever. asked the basic questions, "what does customer service mean to you?" "what is your availability?" "can you do the basic tasks asked of this position?". really easy going but they over scheduled interviews so there was a long wait and multiple people waiting at a time. to fill one position they had 20 interviews scheduled that day. not very professional or efficient in my opinion, to have every potential interviewee sitting there with the others was uncomfortable.
