I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga
Interview
The recruiter initially reached out to me via e-mail; I then formally applied. Began with a phone interview, which covered my experience and education. I was asked basic questions about the web (HTTP Protocol, etc). The recruiter shared information about the company culture and the SF Area. Did not proceed after the phone screening.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zynga
Interview
Talked on the phone with a recruiter. Went over some resume stuff and told me to play around with Zynga games so an on-site interview. There will be 5 interviewers, 4 for technical and 1 managear. Although my friend failed early on and stopped at the 3rd interview

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Very slow in communication back and forth. No feedback from the HR, it feels like talking to a machine.
HR interview was fine but she called late and it was very casual. HR person asked about preference in games and such.
Game design interview was actually very good. The designer at zynga were nice and he asked creative questions like what is your favorite game and how would you make it better.

Question 1
The most difficult question was about monetization. How would you make it so that people spend more money? It is a question that you can easily answer if you know f2p well.
