I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
First there was a phone interview with questions regarding concepts and a brain teaser. In person interview consisted of 5 people, 3 of them pure algorithm questions. Reversing the order of words in a string, transforming an integer to words, finding the sum of the numbers in the array excluding the number of the current index. Last 2 interviews include a design and behavioral interview and an interview with an upper developer regarding projects and impressions.
