Pros

I came to Andersen 4 years ago as a DevOps trainee, after finishing corresponding training course in this very company. Now,4 years later, I’m a Lead DevOps. I’m very grateful for this company for the opportunity to have a brand new start in my career path, although I was already over 30 when I joined the course, and for the opportunity to grow professionally, reach new heights, gain new knowledge and get to know so many amazing and smart people!

Cons

Things happens, so to say :) But no complaints!

Pros

Great offices with a convenient location. Excellent corporate activities organized by the company. If you have the desire and time to improve your skills, there's an opportunity to do so with the company's support - taking courses on Moodle, trying yourself as an interviewer, mentor, speaker speaker or even Associated Lead.

Cons

The main issue is the lack of long-term projects. Developers often have to switch between short projects lasting 3-4 months with tight deadlines. Under these conditions, speed is more important than quality, which makes it impossible to write good code. Constant project changes hinder development: there's no time to think through architectural solutions and gain experience working on large-scale systems, which prevents the development of design skills and expertise in working with enterprise-level applications. Additional activities may go unpaid due to the lack of internal corporate grades for receiving bonuses, even though the extra work is performed with proper quality (for example, supporting a new developer on your project, often a junior who requires increased attention).

Pros

They were interested in your development even during your bench time So many different projects Learning opportunities

Cons

Delivery manager of my project was behaving himself as the CEO of company. It was impossible to reach to him. Even I did, he ignored me in a most unofficial way. Things that had to explained to me at the start of the project, were only told after 3 months into project, when I pushed to meet delivery manager
