Pros

Great opportunity to connect with associates Discount on full price merch Holiday hours for some people Gratis and corporate associate appreciation Wonderful customers

Cons

Favoritism in stores, if your management team doesn't like you, you don't get hours, can't advance with the company, or get transferred to a less hostile store. You're expected to drop everything and come in, if you have to miss a shift due to unforeseen issues, the backlash is severe. Yearly reviews do not match an increase in cost of living. Associates aren't permitted to take breaks or leave the floor to go to the bathroom, while managers take up to two hours and won't cover the sales floor. Backlash from management on pursuing outside opportunities. Too many HR and Labor Board violations to list. If it weren't for several wonderful people I met, I wish I had never taken this job.

Pros

They tried to do some basic training when you first start.

Cons

Don't work here if you ever plan on applying here. Management is horrible, and they give their staff no respect at all. The managers appear to be nice but are controlling, bossy and pushy. They are the true definitions of "two faced". Not only does management disrespect staff, they also argue to each other over headsets etc. I've worked there for only 1 month and have encountered 2 arguments between managers. Every time I walk into work, I feel pressured and scared because I am afraid I will get reprimanded for not 'doing something'. Also, they talk badly about you in your face to other managers - going back to the whole 'disrespect' aspect of it. Not only that, but they barely give any shifts to you and mostly place you on "On Call" shifts, therefore ruining your day plans all together. I am not saying that ALL Bath and Body Works are like this, but I advise that you apply elsewhere and definitely not THIS location.

Pros

The discount at Victoria secret as well, and knowing about the sales and coupons. Not much else was good about this job at all.

Cons

The pay, only offer minimum wage. The work ethic is treat you like slave labor, expected to do to much in a 3 hr shift and will take you away from your tasks and then be mad you didn't finish.
