Pros

100 per cent work from home

Cons

Retrenchments occur quarterly or even more frequently in certain departments and are made under the guise of underperformance issues. Sadly, many talented individuals have left as a result (numerous involuntary). Binance's internal messaging system, Wea, automatically archives messages after 30 days, making retrieval of information difficult. Binance also tracks your working hours via keyboard strokes and screentime. This is automatically done and shows up in your intranet records the next day and is meant to prevent slacking. Recently, CZ said at a townhall in mid-July 2023 that employees are not allowed to talk to the media even after they leave Binance, and if they do, he will ensure that these employees can no longer work in crypto after they leave. Consider your mental health and toll on your self-worth before joining Binance.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Part of Binance’s ethos is brutally efficient communication. This means, our leaders and teams communicate only when they need to with specific asks or information. This also means communications are targeted. This is because we want our employees to be laser focused, and not get distracted by noise. You can see more about our communications practices in CZ’s principles: https://www.binance.com/en/blog/from-cz/czs-principles-6343713009794494746 Now, this can sometimes be perceived as lack of transparency. In a large organization like us, some information can fall through the cracks. But our focus is to not over-communicate and distract employees. We always urge our employees to reach out to their managers or HR reps if they feel they need more info to effectively do their jobs.

Pros

There are no positives you are over working unguided and blamed when they do not achieve their goals. I am currently employed there and seeking opportunities elsewhere

Cons

No actual company values, they want you to log in, do work log off nothing else to promote any culture. Culture of blaming team members for poor management and leadership Not clear on what workload is for what team member Never is the question "Is this best for the customer" asked If you don't work in the Singapore timezone you can forget been included on team updates or insights unless you log in that early Extremely underpaid staff for work requested. Even lower when compared to rest of cryptocurrency market

Thanks for your transparent feedback. In Binance, one of our highly coveted values is #Freedom. You can learn more about it here: https://www.binance.com/en/blog/ecosystem/what-exactly-is-binances-culture-5487396240897265423 This is where employees have the freedom to try out new things and work on projects they’re passionate about and those that help grow the business. In some instances, our senior leaders do have to make swift decisions in order to serve our users in the best ways possible, but for the most part, freedom and collaboration is how we stay ahead of the game. Binance isn’t a place with 9-5 employees and corporate red tape. We have always had a startup mindset, which means we don’t bog ourselves down with excessive processes and guidelines. Being able to thrive in a sometimes chaotic, yet highly impactful and energetic culture is a must-have for any Binance Employee. Your experience is definitely valid, and the insights you’ve provided will factor into our regular review of how employees perceive our culture and core values. Thank you for sharing.

Pros

Good benefits. Good bonuses Flexible working Hours

Cons

Lies. Lies. Lies. My friends got offered 20% higher salary than me and I know I am as qualified as them or even more but they still refused to increase to a fair salary which was absolutely ridiculous. They said there isn't a single person that got higher than my offer but I now for a fact there is.
