Although we’re relentlessly increasing talent density, some of the departing staff are not leaving because of their individual performance - it’s a reflection of the challenging regulatory and market environment, similar to how it’s done by many other companies. We have grown significantly in the past few years, thanks to all of your contributions, but we have to make tough choices to be more efficient and lean at this stage. We hope that we can lean on your passion and expertise again in the future.

      A great place for people who thrive in chaos / masochists

      Pros

      -Compensation -Remote work flexibility -Good reputation in blockchain industry -Opportunity to work in different departments -Impressive colleagues

      Cons

      -Uncertain outlook, lots of regulatory challenges -High employee turnover -Very poor work-life balance. You will be taking calls in the middle of the night and working during public holidays -Dog-eat-dog culture, lots of internal politics and giant egos -Lack of transparency/secrecy from leadership - doesn't inspire much trust, yet they micro-manage and monitor what employees are doing on their computers -Team restructuring and changing reporting lines seemingly every couple of weeks/months. Don't expect any kind of consistency -Every request is urgent and there is poor planning. Leadership has a habit of changing their mind/back-tracking on strategy which adds complexity and unnecessary workload for employees -Reactive approach is applied to all matters of business, no clear vision or roadmap
