Pros

Good human resources structure, good structure in the main office.

Cons

Lots of politics among people, you need to be ally of people to be recognized for their merits. The people who hired you do not care about your day-to-day business. The people I worked with were all unhappy.

Pros

* Great work environment * Managers are open to talk, although they usually don't show this "openness" very well * Good overtime compensations (taxis, dinner, etc) * If you are lucky this can be an excellent company to work for.

Cons

* Too much overtime. Forget about planning your holidays and Sundays. Saturdays are even counted as regular work days in some projects. * Depending on the project and/or manager, you will have absolutely no work/life balance at all. I have experienced that in more than one project, and under more than one manager. * Salaries below average * Too much focus on GPTW yearly evaluation, they don't pay attention to what their employees really think. * They talk too much about taking care of the employees, but these principles will be totally forgotten in seconds if a lot of money shows up for the higher managers. * They are very late to recognize and promote the talents. Usually people from outside the company are more valued than those from the inside. * Usually, you won't get promoted unless you ask. Worse than that, you won't get promoted unless you work many, many extra hours per day/week/month.

Your review is very appreciated! Responding to all of the comments would take up a lot of space, however, management culture and respect for people are central themes to your review. How the company treats and respects people is a core part of CI&T's management culture. Clearly, we have not provided a good example to you. But, we are sure that we can improve through feedback like yours. As for overtime, we know this is not what all of us expected and we are working on some adjustments.

Pros

People that work on Ci&t are great professionals.

Cons

They keep finding a reason to not promote you, even though you fit the required skills to be promoted. There is a clear conflict between working on the necessary things you need to be promoted and working on the project. They have this career plan and a coach, that is actually a mentor that keeps changing. Each time your mentor changes it is like you have reset your career as the new one will require you to do other things. Moreover, it is a company that is constantly denying your rights as a worker. They have even been request to pay a huge amount of money to their employees due to the fact that in the past they would not pay them properly. So you can imagine what kind of company is this. Even though they claim they are agile, the company is highly hierachical and bureoucratic. Oh, and they willl give you a terrible tools (like notebooks and monitors). Really, I am glad I am no longer working there.
