      Great benefits lots of vacation time!

      Pros

      They have the best benefits of anyplace I have ever worked. You get 4 weeks vacation the first year and then shortly thereafter you get five. You have good health coverage, you get to wear jeans to work everyday, and you can flex your start time.

      Cons

      I happened to have a very passive aggressive manager who gave me a hard time about using my sick time after I had an illness after having my child. While the company was flexible about start times, she was not. Other people could work from home. I could not. So overall the company is a good place to work, but you may end up with an incompetent manager.

      Old Boys Club that keeps down/out talent

      Pros

      Many talented and hard working people. Lots of good books and legacy lists.

      Cons

      Senior management does not reflect their workforce--few women are represented. There is a culture of male colleagues promoting each other and not true talent and leadership. Also, the philosophy of raising book prices to grow business is a short-term and cynical approach.

      It's a great sales job, but you are still in a cubicle and still face micromanagent.

      Pros

      Great benefits, for an outbound call sales position it is a nice place to work. The summers are more flexible.

      Cons

      Micromanaging, call monitoring, at the end of the day you are treated like a call center sales rep. Their are field reps that perform our exact same function in the field are treated way better more benefits and way more flexibility.
