Pros

Very nice collegues I learn new stuff everyday Many responsibilities

Cons

The salary is not very high, but it is reasonable and the fact that you learn so much makes up for that

Pros

Employee input is appreciated and also taken to something useful, not another item on the pile. Lots of room for personal development. If you want to achieve a certain goal, Coolblue will empower you to achieve that goal. There are an infinite of challenges you are able to take on. Not only for the technical skill set, but also for skills in management, presenting or architectural domain. Coolblue has an hands-on mentality. Employees are encouraged and empowered to execute their ideas without fear of failure and layers of management. The enormous growing rate of Coolblue will present you with more then enough opportunities to grow and tackle interesting challenges.

Cons

If stable environments and steady teams are your cup of tea, you should think twice before joining Coolblue. We'd love to be flexible and dynamic. Team changes will occur every two or three months and with a change of team your responsibilities and skill set might differ. Of course, this all we do in corporation with the employees, but we do really like a great level of flexibility.

Pros

The ethics of a company should be lived out, not be words only. What I like about Coolblue is that it puts the customer really on the first place. Why is this important? Because it prevents the development of bureaucracy and/or a rat-race culture. Coolblue has a young workforce (average age is about 28 year), though people from my age (I’m a 45 year old dinosaur) are also appreciated. The company is growing at an immense rate, thus offering all kind of opportunities to grow within your job. Average education level is high. If you have an intelligence which is well above average, it will be a relief to talk to colleagues without having to explain everything And finally: it’s a pragmatic and down-to-earth company culture. Come as you are. (Though you might attract some strange glances if you keep on wearing suit-and-tie)

Cons

If your intelligence is above average, you might find quite a few colleagues which have an even higher intelligence. You face the risk to experience the other people have when talking to you. ;-)
