Thank you for the honest review. On your advice about internal promotion: 41 Doers were promoted in Q1 2026, and we post every role at careers.doit.com with a strong preference for internal candidates (even when it slows hiring). I honestly take this seriously. On work/life balance and politics, the specifics matter and a public reply can't do them justice. I'd genuinely like to hear more directly, if you're open to it. Thank you for the kind words about your teammates and our remote setup. — Vadim Solovey, CEO

Pros

- unlimited PTO - remote working

Cons

- This year, there were no annual salary increases for all, and no communication was provided until the very day when employees typically expect at least a modest adjustment. The quoted reason was that all salaries are above industry levels, but how can that be possible for all roles in all locations? This lack of transparency was disappointing. It’s particularly difficult to understand given the company's strong financial performance — continuing to post profits, pursue revenue growth, pay dividends, and acquire other companies. Meanwhile, inflation affects us all, and the cost of home working continues to rise. Acknowledging these realities with even a small increase would have shown appreciation and understanding of employees’ everyday challenges. - The in-person CKO was cancelled and replaced with a short virtual session. This was disappointing and failed to provide the motivation and sense of connection that in-person events offer. Virtual meetings simply cannot replicate the value of face-to-face interaction. One quoted reason was due to our size, since we are now a slimmer org (following redundancies) that has been resolved. In Engineering, we currently zero opportunities to meet in person and build meaningful relationships. Localised meet-ups are neither effective nor consistently funded (do not include all costs), and they fall short given our distributed presence across Europe. - The company has recently undergone a significant round of redundancies, attributed to the adoption of large language models (LLMs). This has understandably impacted morale and raised concerns about job security and the future of our roles.

Thank you for sharing and giving me the opportunity to correct some of the details here. To be clear, DoiT conducts an Annual Compensation Review process each year in late Q4 and early Q1 in partnership with our senior management team, and approved changes go into effect for January 1st for those receiving adjustments. We use annualized Cost of Living data from the Economic Research Institute and the Consumer Price Index to help inform compensation adjustments, but there are a lot of other factors involved. We work within our budget, and also consider the salary ranges, past performance and strategic impact, tenure, compensation history, current competitive market competition and internal equity - in addition to fluctuations in Cost of Living. All of these elements are considered on a case by case basis as part of our review process. If after looking at all the factors above, we determine that a compensation adjustment is warranted, then we would move forward with the adjustment. We would be happy to have a compensation conversation if you would like to discuss your personal comp in more detail - Please reach out to your manager or People Operations Business Partner and we'll set up time ASAP. On a different note, our org restructuring earlier this year was the result of needing to better align global team members to our go forward strategies and enterprise business goals, it had absolutely nothing to do with a shift to LLMs. AI based cloud consulting (what we call Ava) allows DoiT to offer stellar service and support to our smallest customers at no additional cost to them as part of our DCI Essentials tier, while our strategic Cloud Architects have been refocused to serve customers at our Enhanced and Enterprise tiers. R&D was not impacted by the change made earlier this year but I would strongly recommend talking to your manager to reviewing our internal messaging and recordings (Company Keynote, Departmental Kickoffs, All-Hands Meetings, Ask Me Anything Sessions, FAQs, and more) from that time to make sure you have all the right details about our long term strategy and vision along with the changes we made to adapt our teams accordingly. Thank you for your feedback - We are incredibly grateful for our passionate and talented team members around the world. This year marks a host of new or deeper investments in areas like Sales Enablement, Legal and contract management support, Sales Processes, a new learning management system, stronger financial systems, better program management, clearer compensation plans, and stronger end-to-end documentation. These investments, tools and operational priorities comprise a core part of our strategy for this year as review in our FY25 Kickoff Keynote. Our priorities here echo much of the feedback and insights received directly from our team members around the world as we look to ensure we continue to raise the bar on operational and administrative needs that are a critical part of enabling people to do their best work. If you feel like a key ingredient is missing, please take the time to share it with your manager and considering asking about it in an upcoming company wide AMA session for more transparent discussion.
