Don't be fooled. This is not an office job. If you walked into a facility and thought the Mgr you spoke with had it made, and left thinking this is just an easy office job, think again. Doesn't matter your gender or age, be prepared to be responsible for most any maintenance issue. Extra Space is considered the cleanest in the industry. To accomplish that you will be scrubbing walls, doors and floors then wiping it all down with rags to achieve a dust and dirt free unit, which may be inspected by you DM. I tell you this because no one told me this when I hired on, and no one mentioned there is no maintenance personnel hired for the properties. This can be a problem for some in the freezing cold or the stifling heat. You will be gritty dirty on a regular basis, and still be responsible for greeting customers and running your office. And thats just the units....the entire property needs cleaning daily, as well as CC halls need mopped regularly, and roll up garage doors are hand washed as well to be free of dust. It's good honest work, but you will WORK. Other than that, it's a good company, built around a strong team atmosphere.
