- 40 hours most weeks - Lots of growth, so lots of new things and positions - Lots of processes are pretty automated, which is good in some ways - Female Controller - Lots of people come back after leaving, so must have something people like

Cons

- Expensive insurance, even with the reduction for having a health assessment - Do not pay extra for having an advanced degree or professional certification - Lots of customer service involved in accounting role - Lots of processes are automated, which is bad in some ways - Acceptance of high turnover rate and no real emphasis on changing things so people will stay

Extra Space is in a strong growth mode and continues to outperform its' competitors in the market place in both Revenue Growth and NOI. The company values its' team members and gives those employees a tremendous amount of latitude to operate their span of control to the way that will allow them to have the greatest impact. Support is ever present and and there for the taking when needed at all levels of the organization.

Cons

You definitely take the good with the bad at Extra Space. The strong growth mode and high goals make the positions challenging but the enthusiasm infused throughout the company keeps the energy high and the environment friendly and healthy. Change is a staple as the company expands and support elements stretch and realign both at the support level and through the software the company utilizes.
