      Pros

      Absolutely love being a part of the Extra Space TEAM. We have so much leeway at site level. As long as you have outstanding customer service and time management skills you will excel here.

      Cons

      Sometimes you can feel discouraged when others have more opportunity for advancement.

      Pros

      Have been with Extra Space now for several years. Everyone is very friendly and the opportunity to advance is there if you want to advance. Great insurance and they have a 401k plan if interested. Fun place to work, always having competitions for different things and giving away gift cards, prizes.

      Cons

      The office hours are 9:30 -6:00 Mon.-Fri. and 9:00 - 5:30 on Sat. Would be nice if we could open earlier and close a little earlier, especially in the winter months. Or work only 1/2 a day on Sat. as it is usually slow in the afternoons.

      Pros

      Extra Space genuinely cares about its employees. They provide extensive training and don't even let you work alone for the first month so you can gain practice and ask questions. They provide monthly, yearly, and Christmas bonuses. It is a growing company with lots of opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      You do have to work in all types of weather conditions to perform cleaning/maintenance and do rentals, but you are generally inside for the most part when it is raining or snowing.
