Throughout my career I have never had employers that encouraged AND acted on the ideas shared by me and others in the organization, at all levels. I have been promoted and given opportunities to act in as many roles as I would prepare myself for and look for more opportunities. This is a strong, dynamic and viable company.

Cons

not many opportunities to grow outside of SLC headquarters

Pros

Great enviornment. Understanding, competant management. I worked for a small department within Extra Space and our team became very close, as a result of a great boss and management. The higher ups know how to get the best out of their employees. Plenty of opportunity for growth and advancement. Great pay and benefits. They are changing the storage industry for the better.

Cons

The new policy of not allowing family to work. I am related to a VP within the company and my department was within the building he oversaw, however he had nothing to do with it. The only reason this came up was because I was promoted to a corporate position. Otherwise I wouldn't have been on the radar.
