Pros

The company does a really good job of letting you run the site. There are a lot of tools we're allowed to use that other storage companies don't have, or need Upper Management approval for.

Cons

While they do empower you to make decisions, there isn't really consistency between districts. Some DMs are way more micro-manage-y than others. Where policies are in place, but they still want to "way in" on them before you're allowed to do so. While I don't think this is company-wide, there are DMs that are maybe on a power trip, or again, just micro-managing.

Support, Teamwork, Caring, Compassion, Leadership. Extra Space is amazing. I worked at a mom and pop storage for 18 years and I wish I had found Extra Space then. This company is amazing to work for.

Cons

Positive and Rewarding Work Experience! Thriving Culture with Excellent Work Life Balance! I was in healthcare for over 20 years and making the decision to switch careers to Extra Space Storage was truly the best decision I have ever made! From beginning to end co workers and upper management have truly been a blessing!

Cons

The only downfall I can say is the pay! Other than that scheduling along with incentives are pretty great!
