Everyone is very professional, the organization is forward looking, and the business is growing rapidly. FM can compete with anyone in Metals, Ag, and Forest Products.

While pay will always be an emotive and personal subject, we remain committed to continually benchmark and assessing our salaries. If you believe your pay to be below market, please do raise this confidentially with either your manager or your HR Business Partner and this can be investigated.

Excellent Remote Work Experience

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Fastmarkets is part of a larger organization Euromoney, and the division hosts several acquisitions including Agricensus and The Jacobsen. I can only report on my sphere of experience, it is a big company. -Good pay for remote work. Their model is not top pay, but adequate pay and support for work life balance. -Inclusive culture -High standards for reporting -Some opportunity for advancement, but not as much as a junior position. -Transparency. Regular Town Hall meetings with opportunities to ask senior leadership questions.

Cons

-Vocal critics are amplified through the Town Hall meetings. Employee expectations aren't always reasonable, but driven by self interest. The few rotten apples create the impression of broader morale issues, when really they need to be pruned out. Large company, no doubt there are pockets of rot, but there is no systemic issue of morale as outspoken critics would argue. -The medical insurance is one of the worst I've ever had, but it is adequate.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and rating. You have shared some great insight and myself or any one in the Fastmarkets leadership team would love the opportunity to talk a little more about the points you have raised. Over the last couple of months we have invested significantly in our medical insurance schemes, so I hope you are able to realise the benefits of this. We are also planning to review our management training programmes, which we discussed in our last Town Hall - more of this information to follow. Thank you again for leaving your feedback.
