      Pros

      When the business was a head count of 800 a few years ago, opportunities were aplenty. That immediately got cut each time a new business was bought out and taken over.

      Cons

      US takeover with latest CEO and friends. Now has a US politically strategised approach to managing the business. Nonexistent role progression, with opportunities only awarded through favouritism and undermining access to role progression among peers. No profit pool, doesn’t look like we’ll see it return, expect a blanket salary increase of a few %, only to catch up on the below market pay average for roles, with the continued below inflation match.

      Cool work, but work/life balance non-existent

      Pros

      There's major investment in improving the overall RevOps processes to reduce meetings and inefficiencies. Roles and responsibilities are changing rapidly for the better. Suggestions are also heard and implemented much of the time if they see it being another level of efficiency. You're given alot of opportunities to own your work as there is so much of it. Clients that we work with are cool. Most team members are amazing and super knowledgeable to create strong campaigns for clients. My boss advocates for us where they can and will step in if something needs addressing. NY location is perfectly located for public transport (the office itself is a different conversation).

      Cons

      I can't recall a day in months where I could confidently sign off by 6pm. We are given too much work that it all can't be handled in a normal 8 hr day and are constantly playing catch up while being told by management to be responsive. People are responding even while on PTO because they feel they need to. While leadership shows their concerns, not much has been done to alleviate that. In fact, its often where managment is having teams add on addtional tasks the day of. We give clients everything under the sun for pocket change on sites that look like they're from 2005. Some people are working here due to relationships with senior leadership and not how well they are doing and those certain people believe they can be rude to their internal teams while acting like clients are never wrong (which they are). Hybrid model is awful and unnecessary plus the NY office is not great, especially when it comes to meeting spaces and amenities.
