      Great place to learn this industry and build experience.

      Pros

      A great opportunity to enter the market. If you're willing to take on the work, you can go any number of directions. The people are great and are willing to share their knowledge. The job is never dull.

      Cons

      As mentioned in other reviews, the hours are long and the work is demanding. Reasoning behind promotions is not transparent. Salaries are not aligned with hours and work load.

      Pros

      The benefits are great at Markit. 3 weeks vacation, 3 personal days, and 6 six days. Also, the medical and dental is cheap.

      Cons

      Career growth may somewhat be limited if your in the bottom of the totem pole as with many places.
