Unrealistic Expectations from Senior Management

Anonymous employee

Business Outlook

Pros

Some of the smartest people I have worked to work with, coupled with an ambitious work environment, made it easier to put in extra effort.

Cons

Lack of leadership from Senior Management. Honestly they are clueless! Constantly changing staff priorities and micro-managing everything. Lack of career development

I am glad you have appreciated Inks environment – we pride our self for having top talent! On the other hand, I am sorry to hear that you felt that our senior managers are not competent enough – we have always been investing in training and development of all our employees, regardless of their status. However, you need to understand that businesses priorities may change from time to time and that will have immediate impact on employees’ priorities.

Pros

-If you are in the top 10% you will earn you promised living -Handing in my notice

Cons

Miserable sales floor, overfilled yet always changing. Poor management, encouraged to lie to clients. Products are utterly useless and under preform. - Company claims to have a 'digital product' that is a joke and shows a complete lack of understanding. Commission is not 10% although job is advertised at this rate.

We appreciate your feedback and we encourage all our employees (former and current) to drop us an email or leave a review if they want to discuss things further. Please not that in last four years things have changed massively: 1. We have new trainers to give everyone the opportunity to succeed 2. We have a new management systems in place 3. We have restructured the teams on the sales floor 4. We have new sales software to help teams convert business 5. For years, we have had a constant and transparent commission structure 6. Our company is growing year on year as is our media

Revolving Door

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Some great people, there are an elite few earning a VERY comfortable living while still very young.

Cons

Biggest problem is the non-achievable 10 calls per days. Average is 5 on the sales floor so the average commission percentage is 5% this is way below the industry standard. I was on 1%. It just means you can sell and sell, but if you don't follow their silly rules. They pocket the money, and you get paid nothing. Secondly, it's a revolving door. Far too many leaving, far too many joining. Check the terms of your contract, everyone has a one week notice period. They really couldn't careless.

Thank you for your feedback. You have raised some interesting points here that, we can reassure you, are now very much out of date. We have updated many practices in the Company and we are seeing the positive results of those changes.
