Pros

Daily creative activities to boost your mornings and gear up for the day. Good at the start gets mundane after sometime.

Cons

Bad Management. Bad Communication. Bad Culture. Everyone is being monitored closely in a highly stressed environment to achieve unrealistic target numbers.

Thank you for you feedback. Recently we have revised our recruitment strategy, hired new industry professionals, invested heavily in training and development, worked on appraisals and tackled our internal challenges. Our strategy incorporates continuous development in all our operational fields – whether that’s sales, editorial, creative or financial side of business. Ink has a high performing culture, and all our employees are invited to engage in daily activities (that take place during working hours), (over)perform, and have fun at work (yes, our motto is work hard, play hard). Sales targets at Ink are realistic – they are increased from time to time to allow for new challenges and none of our sales teams has failed to achieve them.

Chaotic, challenging and often disaffecting

Pros

-Opportunities to work with some of the best people you could hope to work with in various areas of the company -A truly great product set that every employee will admit to being proud to be associated with -Genuinely being a market leader in airline magazines -Beautiful new office in West Hampstead

Cons

-Generally extremely chaotic, priorities can change at the drop of a hat -Occasionally challenging to the point of farce -Approaches from senior management that range from micro-management to apathy and non-commitment -A lack of investment and/or realism in a number of recent projects -Turnover of sales staff is often quite high -Deterioration of social culture which is now almost non-existent

Pros

You join a company which appears at the onset to provide the 'dream' job. There is plenty of potential if you are a hard nosed sales person with no morals or ethics. You can move quickly through the company as long as you bring in the requested "deal a day " - and I mean "move " through the company in the biblical sense .

Cons

The ethics are hard and cut throat. Staff turnaround is rapid and you need to be extremely tough to cope with the pressures of this company. Sales can be challenging but Ink is a different challenge on it's own. I was warned before I joined this company but thought It was sour grapes and joined them regardless. When I left of my own choosing as I could not watch what was going on around me any longer I was advised by subsequent media agencies to take 6 months off and get counselling. They are well known in the media agencies for their poor ethics , check before you join them would be my advice . I find it very worrying a review on this site criticizing the reviewers stating they shouldn't have been recruited in the first place - hilarious (besides unprofessional ) as he recruited them in the first place and confirms the negative reviews in one hit.

Feedback is the main avenue for the growth – and we sincerely appreciate it. As this feedback was written more than two years ago we can optimistically say that a lot of things changed at Ink (from the location to recruitment strategies) in order to improve our business management, communications and connections. Aside from that, we understand that sales is not for everyone – in some periods we have experienced high turnover, (which was probably because we have recruited people who “needed a job” rather than “wanted the job”) but we have tackled that issue and our turnover rates are remarkably lower than they were in previous years. Our management structure allows us to easily detect the right talent and promote employees who have succeeded and delivered on the opportunity in front of them. Employee testimonials are available in our recruitment brochure (see link: https://ink-global.com/careers/recruitment-guide-london). We take business ethics very seriously and we do not allow our employees to act in any ways that we deem unreasonable – such actions will always have consequences and will ultimately end up in disciplinary hearings before taking further actions. We appreciate any form of feedback and will investigate all the matters raised on the Glassdoor that we consider to be unbiased.
