Pros

Immediate colleagues were really good to work with. They made an effort to use modern front-end technologies.

Cons

The line between a contractor or a permenant employee is more or less absence apart from the salary difference. No other benefits e.g. training. Virtually to meetings with line manager for catchups or reviews. Location change isnt great too. Basically, The way the IT team is managed you don't feel you are a permie, rather a contractor who can be let go at any moment. Just not worth it considering the location and alternatives in the London area. Experience seems to reflect how staff are managed in the established Sales division

We appreciate your feedback and would like to address this situation personally – we would kindly ask you to comment on the issue with more detail (you can either do it anonymously via Glassdoor or you can drop me an email – Victoria.Hearn@ink-global.com). As for regular employment reviews, we are implementing a formal performance appraisal system.

That’s great mix of praise and constructive criticism – thank you for taking the time to write. We are glad that you enjoyed working with our colleagues and that you have appreciated good work/life balance Ink provides. As far as cons go, we wanted to update you to say that we have restructured many of our day to day actions to tackle the issues that you have raised. We have invested in several projects, training and development and other associated human resource practices, which have, in turn, led us to experience lower turnover rates and increased performance and engagement.
