Pros

Joining INK over a year ago was by far the best decision I've made! Working with a great team, under great management and selling well-known products under great travel names! not being micro-managed but results driven works for me! I'm given weekly performance coaching which has seen me elevate personally, spiritually and financially. Great offices, lovely décor and pretty much everything supplied at the office, including various different breakfasts and snacks! I've also had the opportunity to travel with the company for business and pleasure!! But of course, for anyone in our sector - Great money to be made!

Cons

Can be a bit like groundhog day, so you have to be self motivating!

Pros

If you want to work on magazines and travel stories there are many titles, but you might be better off pitching and freelancing

Cons

Extremely toxic culture in the Asia office, as rules are being made up as they go along to suit the situation. No proper onboarding, but expect you to get all the details of the job right act like they are doing you a favor when they show you how to do something. Senior staff are entitled, superior and behave like they are running a high school click. Senior editor plays favourites. Nasty words are spoken about freelancers who they don't think are up to their standards and airline clients who don't let them do what they want are called stupid. Short staffed, creating high pressure on those in the job to do more, leading to some even going to the extent of hiding their own incompetence by blaming other employees. This is bullying. There's almost delusional atmosphere in office. Those who are favourites of the seniors get to do and say what they like, no one is daring to speak up and tell them to knock it off. Anyone who do is fired or put on probation and then fired. The so-called leadership who should put a stop to this behavior does nothing in fact are part of it. There's no accountability, it is a culture of gaslighting and enabling those unfit for real leadership to do as they like. Job doesn't offer benefits or structure for increment.
