Pros

Ink works with some of the most prestigious airlines, producing good quality inflight magazines.

Cons

I will focus my review on the sales department that is, in my opinion, the real issue with Ink. The whole Ink sales culture is ethically wrong towards both employees and clients. On the employee side: Salespeople are pushed to quantity selling rather than quality, leaving them almost no dignity as professionals. The Company forces employees to generate leads outside of working hours, creating additional workload on evenings and weekends. Leads are checked and salespeople are expected to bring 100 new leads a week (sales conversion is very poor though). All the phone calls are registered, with no trust of the employee. As if this was not enough, commission structure can change anytime at the company's discretion, ensuring salespeople never get what they deserve and worked incredibly hard for. Delays in client payments and cancellations are all at employees expense. These are just some of the reasons why that department has the highest employee rotation I've ever seen. On the advertisers side: Based on direct experience of more than 100 clients, I strongly suggest not to approach Ink inflight magazines as an advertising channel. 90% of clients were not satisfied about the result of their campaigns and never came back. The effort is completely focused on getting aboard loads of new clients, and locking them in contractually with long-term subscriptions, because they are not going to come back. Client management is not even mentioned. The sales people are pushed to lie, making up all the details such as page availability, deadlines and efficacy of the advertisement -- of course pushing the price as high as possible. It's easy to understand why clients are left totally dissatisfied. To prevent any doubt: most of the positive reviews here are made by management, please think carefully before starting ANY business with them. And if you are already involved...good luck :-)

Thank you for your feedback. You have raised some interesting points here that, we can reassure you, are now very much out of date. We have updated many practices in the Company and we are seeing the positive results of those changes. The travel media space is thriving and our success in this field is clear to see. Travel media is one of the only places in the media where the audience is growing year on year and more people are engaging in deep and meaningful ways. Brands are seeing that we offer huge audiences of engaged travellers who are affluent and who like to consume. Our media is positive and inspiring and therefore it is here to stay. Most of our clients are doing business with us for well over 5+ years - reason being that they find it successful. And lastly, let me reassure you that positive reviews on Glassdoor have not been made by management – I’m pretty sure they have more important things to work on – but by our former or current employees who have / are enjoying working at Ink. If anyone requires further explanation, I will be more than happy to answer any enquiries – please email me on Victoria.Heran@ink-global.com.

Pros

@INK we are different. Whilst other companies try to limit their employees, at INK there are no limits. Ink provides a platform where I (and everyone else) can make a career, learn, experience and fulfil dreams. I know that sounds cheesy but for me INK is the first employer who let's me be who I am and doesn't stop me being successful. I love it. I left INK for a year for personal reasons but missed it too much and came back. That was probably the best decision I ever made in my career. Of course working at INK is a (great) challenge but so is life. The difference to most other companies I have worked for is that INK cares. I have people around me who are getting the best out of me and making me better every day. They also make me laugh. I work for the London office and on all 4 floors are incredibly talented and amazing people with different skills and from different backgrounds. That's why we produce the best in-flight magazines in the world and that's what makes INK strong and unstoppable!

Cons

Sometimes the execution of great plans/ideas doesn't work but at least we have directors with a vision.

Pros

I have worked at Ink for 4 years, and yes it is not for the faint hearted. However it is amazing where can you work hard, play even harder, get paid a lot of money, travel the world. I have been to the Caribbean, Amsterdam, Barcelona, & Houston & Texas and log may it continue Yes alot of people have put negative reviews on Glassdoor, well I can understand it is never nice being fired from any company, however you must ask your self why did you fail, ink only hire people on what they say at Interview So if you cannot handle a bit of pain for plenty pleasure, then ink is not for you.

Cons

Yes it is very hard work and the pressure is high. Like the saying says if you cannot handle the heat stay ot of the kitchen
