Pros

* Relaxed atmosphere, great work/life balance * Lots. Like really lots of parties. Basically every 2 months there is a reason to gather together in a pub/restaurant * Good benefits. 100$ policy - no need in manager's approval to get something for work (headphones, phone case....) * Nice office. Grill on the roof, free beer in the office

Cons

* No-one cares about your skills. Promotions seem rather to be random or time based. Performance review cycle is a joke. You might not get a promotion, because you were "late" couple of times, even though you are doing 3 times more work than people around. This is an IT company. Quality and quantity of work should matter, not that you are 10 minutes late * Very often you hear: "We are a gaming company". You may ask HR: "Why average salaries here are below market level" or "Can we put developers on-call, so they are responsible for their code" - the answer is the same * Salaries are very below market. To get better salary, you, basically, need to bring an offer from another company * Management does not listen to you. There was a moment when "anonymous feedback" was collected in special boxes in the office. Many people put notes there, but there was no response. When people asked for it management answered: "Most of the notes were about food and drinks, so we do not deem it necessary to respond". * No food in the office

Great Studio - Great Projects!

Pros

Great studio, great projects behind the scenes. Tons of possibilities to grow, develop and influence. Highly talented people. Great work conditions, free drinks, coffee, food, beer. Company parties and events. Paid trips/conferences etc. If you need a software or hardware they will get it for you quickly and happily. Great work/life balance, you can easily leave and go back home at around 4PM-5PM and relax and enjoy life. I highly recommend on working for Innogames.

Cons

Hamburg is very cold and there's not much to do there. Very boring city. The city is not the best when it comes to people and social life, there's absolutely no social life there. Not enough information sharing, on a daily basis, people are not open to teach and share their knowledge and it almost feels as if they avoid it which is very negative.

Hiring-Fairing, Unstable environment

Pros

-nice office -opportunity to go to conferences

Cons

-High rotation level.. a lot of hiring-firing -They prefer to hire new cheap people than promote or train old people. They have been firing a lot of people that worked in the company for years -Old people stuck in the same positions for years and years -Terrible Terrible narcissistic Project Managers that work only for the benefit of the elite -A lot of FAILURE new games and projects… it’s kinda unstable -All the games are the same… boring! -Company depends on 2 successful games, and 2 old games with few audience. They haven’t had a successful release since years -Games with still ONLY web version -Good mixture of nationalities, but they don’t work on a proper integration which ends sometimes in an unhealthy competitive environment (specially with East Europeans-Rumanians)
