Pros

The growth potential within the company is awesome. You have the chance to create a career, or gain experience out of the company. Can lead to greater opportunities if you ever choose to leave the company. Does employee functions monthly for birthdays. Offers good medical benefits to employees. HR team is freaking awesome! If you ever doubt anything, don't be afraid to go to the HR team. Jennifer Luce, Alexa Soto, and Christel Jordan, just a phenomenal set of women and honestly, this is the first company I have EVER been in that the HR has been so great such as these women.

Cons

As much as the love I have for the HR crew, unfortunately not all parts of the company are "great". They call is Jeunesse Family but I never saw the "Jeunesse family" go into effect but rather when it's when they need us to do something beneficial. I love some parts of the company, but other parts were not what you think... The biggest issue I could say was there was the one thing a lot of employees complain about - favoritism. You can work till your fingers bleed, stay late, and work hard, but sometimes it doesn't matter. The company has great parts, but you need to be mindful of what part of the company you want to be in. My advice - look for a position past help desk or customer support. The directors are candid with you - meaning they have no filter telling you what they feel or if they think you are talking about them. It's kind of ridiculous to go off on people if someone says something. Look for something above or higher, and if you start there work hard for six months till you can get out of there and move on.

Pros

The best reasons for me working at Jeunesse at first was the non- micromanaged work environment, the unlimited overtime was great as well (while it lasted).

Cons

There are so many cons. They show blatant favortism in certain departments. they are more concerned in celebrating the numbers than the actual work quality. There is no recognition to those who do great work if they don't feel your numbers are extremely high. There is much gossip and fraternizing going on between management and some hourly employees. It started out a really great company to work for then everything turned really bad once they acquired the new facility. Also, if someone quits or is fired, instead of doing it quietly, they take that time to ridicule the person among entire departments basically and try to vilify the person.

Pros

Office looks nice, marketing video looks fancy.

Cons

It is an easy come easy go company, laid off over 100 employees last year without notice and those laid off employees were all being escorted by the security and two police was secure the gate on that day, which is so shame on this company. Also suggestion for those thinking to join, please use your analytics logic to look all the reviews, you will find all those good review has no "helpful" counts, for all those dare to say bad reviews has a lot of "helpful" tags. So think about why!

Dear Current Employee: Thank you for the feedback. Did you schedule time to meet with the Human Resources Department to express your concerns? We welcome all employees to bring any concerns to HR. We appreciate your feelings regarding the workforce reduction that took place in 2019. These are business decisions often made without notice to employees. It is not an enjoyable situation for anyone when that happens, but we did have our first WFR (Work Force Reduction) in over ten years to better align our employee ratio to our sales. We have already hired a few employees back that were let go based on sales increase and need for the role again. We also helped many of those employees find work at other locations based on our relationship with recruiters. HR would really appreciate you scheduling time to discuss these concerns since you are currently still employed at Jeunesse. We welcome you to reach out as soon as possible. Thank you for your time in advance.
