Great Flexibility, Lots of Freedom

Pros

Freedom to choose when to work is essential for me. There are no fixed working hours. There are fewer students at certain hours, but anybody can find what time fits them best. Until the first 1000 hours on your profile waiting for someone to pop up to your stand-by class is much longer, but the school really helps and it's not only important; it's essential for every newbie. The school has various materials to work with and there is a self-paced coaching page for tutors. I also LOVE that the school is on its own platform which gives instant help and support if anything goes down during the class. You don't have to provide excessive explanations and pay penalties for the lost class if it wasn't your fault (you only provide the proof).

Cons

The pay is low, and you get paid only when you work, so no vacation, no days off, nothing of that sort. If the pay is higher, you could accumulate some money and go on vacation, but this is impossible.

There's not much to say, I worked there for years and remained at the same entry position within pay and was never regarded as a native English speaker, even though I was born in South Africa. 0/10 experience wouldn't recommend

Cons

Low hours Low rates Ridiculous to achieve incentives The hour pay??!! Was just appalling
