Pros

Smart and excellent colleagues, ability to be creative and work independently, great mission, tons of global opportunities. Great place to work to grow professionally. If you are good at what you do and ambitious, you can make a real impact overseas and do great things. Always encouraged to follow one's passion.

Cons

Growing pains from recent acquisitions and trying to merge many companies into one. Lack of management transparency, which leads to misperceptions. easy to become overloaded and overworked.

Entrepreneurial culture in a global company

Business Outlook

Pros

Company has gone through dramatic transformation over past 1-2 years, with acquisitions in US and name change. Company has integrated planning and accounting systems across the globe (hubs in London, DC, Brisbane and work in nearly 100 countries) then delegated substantial decision making to each region. Delegation spurred entrepreneurialism, while earlier integration enabled it. *Company leadership -- and staff -- are passionate about having an impact in the developing world. *Focus on shared value for corporates and developing countries that will be sustainable because it benefits both. *Big emphasis on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Cons

*Hard to get used to wall-free work environment in the US, but it does foster collaboration. * Growth has led to hiring, and more space is needed in DC!
