Pros

Good Co-workers. Challenging. Fair pay, benefits and holidays.

Cons

You are sold on the job because of the fun culture and challenge, but once you start working you realize it is all Smoke & Mirrors. Don't plan on getting promoted from within, as they always look outside the company to hire new management. Also make sure you don't have any ideas that go against senior management, make any mistakes or try to have a fun culture or they will probably replace you.

Pros

Co-Workers are good. Good Holiday Schedule. Competitive Pay & Benefits

Cons

You are sold on your job with a culture of fun and challenge. After you start you realize there is no fun and it's all smoke and mirrors. Don't plan on getting promoted from within, they only value people coming from the outside. Basically a culture of fear if you do something wrong, have the perception you did something wrong, or try to influence a culture of fun you are probably on your way our or plan on being replaced.

Pros

This is definitely one of the most "fun" places I've ever worked. Really friendly/happy people and you really feel like you're part of a team. Upper management tends to listen to your ideas/suggestions no matter what your position is within the company, and you do feel like you've accomplished something good when you see program suggestions come to life on the website. Casual attire, good PTO/benefits (though the time-off/flexibility seems to have become more strict in the past few years), and great teams of people working toward one goal.

Cons

While upper management seems to notice and appreciate hard work, they don't always reward you for it. You must ask/fight (multiple times) for a raise even when it's over-due, and the pay in comparison with SheKnows' competitors is not nearly up to par. It's a great first job out of college, but not a company you necessarily want to grow with if you're looking for someone to reward your hard work. They also can tend to drag their feet during the hiring process, which allows good prospects to interview at other places and ultimately accept offers from other companies when SheKnows had taken their time sending over paperwork..I've unfortunately watched a lot of great prospects "get away" because management didn't give the green-light fast enough to hire someone.
