      Company is all about who you know not what you know

      Pros

      Good compensation, Some great people in leadership, Nice offices

      Cons

      People get promoted based off their personal relationships, and not because of their work ethic. Don't bother telling your manager anything HR related, because it will spread within your team. Unprofessionalism everywhere, and lack of respect.

      Pros

      Incentive model does not have a cap. Relatively easy upward mobility.

      Cons

      Unstable work environment. One hand does not know what the other is doing. In an ever changing industry Sanatander changes (not always for the better) overnight. Reports allow for micro managing.

      Pros

      Very good central London location (nice area of shops, bars, etc). Work/life balance quite good too, since the hours were generally regular and restrained. Summer months much less pressurised since many Spanish executives took August off.

      Cons

      Salary wasn't great. The work was a bit too generalist and not terribly sophisticated. I found the Anglo-Spanish culture in the office a bit difficult: the two nationalities did not really mix a lot socially and their working styles jarred. Nice building but physical space within it rather limited.
